I’ve recently started my own journey through the performance arts industry, and have begun my pathway of starting my own dance academy – Kōhatu Dance Co, and recently [we] were approached…to collaborate a dance piece for a production, an Indian production, a RED CARPET production. And boy was that a journey itself just being asked to even be along side by old haka group, let alone perform at the same time, same stage, in sync. The most beautiful aura surrounded not only me, but the entire cast & crew, as well as the audience whilst Taniwhas were performing. Will always cherish this memory, forever more to come. 

Humbling experience this entire week, from rehearsals, practices, dress rehearsal, red carpet and then straight into the 5-season-shows, couldn’t;t have asked for a better opportunity than this.
