What Makeup Means to Meera
Talent artists deserve to be showcased, and the makeup artists involved in the stage production Meera are no exception…
Every art needs to be known and showcased. Meera is not just a show it’s a collaboration of versatility and diversity. To make you a part of the journey, part of the Meera Family, the production team have decided to bring you all the insights from behind the big show. Every week we will be declaring a new theme which will cover different aspects of all the efforts which are made. This week, Meera is sharing the endless efforts of the hair and makeup team. Brining an ancient story into a real world is not an easy task, but demands extreme creativity, innovation, vision and a lot of human effort. Meera production is a combined effort of every individual, working hard to bring it to life. Every art needs its own unique display to stand out. Meera is a combination of so many different characters which stand out in their own way. To make them more beautiful and lively, our creative hair and makeup team put their souls in their work.
Mona Bhasin the make director and Kirsty Marvelley-Casseslls her assistant are two major faces behind the unique makeup and styling of Meera The Production. Every character needs its own distinguish look to depict their character, for which Mona and Kirsty not only have developed, but also trained the new talents of the makeup and stylist teams, helping them achieve qualifications in their individual makeup studies. Putting 100 faces into their defined characters with delegacy and beauty is a creative yet challenging, task but the hair and makeup team make it sure to achieve it without hesitation.
